Songs of Praise Filmed at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral
Posted by Stephen
It may not be everyones cup of tea, but there are enough people still interested in the Songs of Praise style to fill Liverpool’s Metropolitan Cathedral.
The BBC TV show, which is hosted by former choir boy Aled Jones and is televised on a Sunday evening, was recorded in the Cathedral earlier this week. Filming lasted for over three hours and the results will be split into two editions of the programme to be shown later this year.
Songs of Praise is watched by over four million viewers each week and is the longest running religious TV show in the world.
