Liver Bird Joins Easter Egg Hunt

COULD it be the patter of tiny feet for the Liver Birds?It appeared the city’s icons might have been expecting a new arrival as a giant silver egg appeared yesterday next to one of the birds.
Or were they getting in on the act in anticipation of the first Great Royal Liver Easter Egg Hunt, which takes place over the weekend?
The free treasure hunt will lead a trail of 10 cryptic clues all over the city over Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.
