Capital of Culture ‘A Boost to JLA’s Profits’

Liverpool John Lennon Airport (JLA) chiefs claim the city’s high profile in the months preceding the Capital of Culture events has brought in thousands of extra passengers.According to owners Peel Holdings, financial results released later in the year are expected to show that the airport will have made a profit for the first time. Last year, the airport posted a pre-tax loss of £1.7 million.
